One of my highschool teachers used to say:
Try everything: you don't need to swallow, but at least taste.
It can be a good way to get unstuck when unsure which one is the best. Trying all the options often means being open to different possibilities, including ones you might not understand or be comfortable with.
Examples:
- Marketing was kind of a black box for me, but I experimented with Create icons for feature lists and Use bolder design for landing pages to improve the understandability of my app homepages.
- I was not so comfortable with being on video, but published Cooking with Launchlet, a vlog on how to do cool things with Launchlet.
- With little enthusiasm for tracking stats, I tried measuring my progress each month for a year to see how it felt.
By exploring different strategies and being open to new experiences, I understood better what works for me and feel more capable of navigating where to go next.
One of the 100 steps to success.
