The name is a joke about my historic avoidance of chronologically organized platforms for major output (see Discussion is ephemeral)—I'm embracing the transient nature of newsletters and playing to their strengths.
As a contrast to timelines or sending it to individuals or the collective as items appear, I throttle my output into weekly digest. This forces taking time, counters the urge to post a link in a box and have an app fetch the context—you reflect on what it means to share something, you take time, be more deliberate.
