A personal term for minimal viable prototypes. Coming from the sense of the mathematical proof, it is a composition of the necessary elements to demonstrate that something is possible.

Use it as a way to explore questions, curiosities, or bugs by creating a quarantined context in which to focus on something specific and atomic. Nothing is too small. In fact, a smaller scope makes it easier to isolate variables and understand what is going on, makes it more likely to come away with a better model of the system. Trying things in the context of an existing project makes it harder to separate concerns and focus on the fundamental elements.

Have a system that automatically names and organizes these 'attempts' so that exploration and problem-solving can begin as soon as possible.
